How this platform is built
Park models occupy an odd position: titled and built as recreational vehicles, constructed almost entirely with residential methods, and installed semi-permanently on piers. Repair on this platform borrows from both worlds and belongs cleanly to neither.
The chassis
A heavy steel frame with a permanent or removable axle set and a removable tongue, sized to carry the unit down a highway a small number of times in its life.
