This policy explains what information OCRV Center collects through ocrvshop.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website only. Information you give us in person, over the phone, or on a repair order is governed by our normal business records practices and by California law.
What we collect
When you submit the estimate or claim intake form, we collect the information you type into it: your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, vehicle details, insurance carrier and claim number if applicable, and whatever you write in the message field. We collect nothing else from that form.
When you browse the site, our analytics collects standard technical information: pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, referring source, and interactions such as clicking a phone number or submitting a form. This is aggregate measurement data. We do not use it to build an individual profile of you.
Why we collect it
- To respond to you. Form submissions go to our shop email so we can call you back and schedule an assessment.
- To process a repair. If you become a customer, the information you gave us becomes part of your repair order and, where a carrier is involved, part of the claim file.
- To understand what the site needs to do better. Aggregate analytics tells us which pages answer questions and which do not.
Who we share it with
We share your information with your insurance carrier and adjuster when you ask us to handle a claim, because that is what handling a claim requires. We share it with parts suppliers only to the extent needed to order parts for your vehicle.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it for any purpose you did not contact us about.
Service providers
This site is hosted on Vercel and uses Google Analytics for measurement. Form submissions are delivered by an email service provider. Each of these processes data on our behalf under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets analytics cookies. It does not set advertising cookies and does not participate in cross site advertising networks. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings, and the site works normally with them blocked.
We honor Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser sends one, we treat it as an opt out request.
Your rights in California
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to request deletion of it, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
To make a request, email info@ocrvcenter.com or call (949) 799-3387. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe the statute requires. Note that we may need to retain records tied to a completed repair or an insurance claim for as long as other law requires.
How long we keep it
Form submissions that do not become customers are retained for a limited period and then deleted. Repair records are retained as required by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and by our insurance and tax obligations.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we do not collect payment card data or government identifiers through this website at all, which removes the highest risk categories from the equation.
Children
This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
